You Annoy Me, Time For You To Go
I read this past week some disturbing posts online. Unfortunately they sum up the mentality of most voters that are unable to think for themselves. The two examples below show that this country is in serious trouble when people no longer want others to question what our politicians and leaders do and say.
One posts was, “However your pissing and moaning annoys me to no end considering Saturday’s attempts. Time for you to go.” This is another post that causes you to scratch your head, “Trump picked him that’s it. There’s no questioning anything Trump does! The man is smarter than any of us. If Trump is for him that’s all we need to know period. He can’t do any damage look at Pence he had no power.” These post were in response to criticism of Trump picking J. D. Vance for Vice President. The above explains the situation perfectly and it happens on both sides. It sums up the cluelessness of some voters. Pence had no power but he just destroyed the country with his cowardice. I don’t need to ask questions, I do not need to think. I just vote as I am told because they are smarter than us. Mindless and clueless as people have been for many years. I just vote for the (R) or (D) as I am told.
People said the same with many others such as Lyndon Johnson, Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George Bush (41), Bill Clinton, George Bush (43), Barrack Obama, Trump (45) and even as hard as it might seem, Biden. Now it is happening in 2024 with Trump. Don’t ask questions, fall in line, support everything he does because he is smarter. If you disagree you are the enemy of the party and are working for the other side. These people do the same as politicians, always blame the other side.
This is why things will not change in this country. As long as people refuse to question those in power or seeking power the country will not get better it will only get worse. As long as they criticize those asking questions and ordering them to fall in line with the party bosses this country is doomed. We have gotten along for many years but there is no tomorrow because of these type of people that just follow along and do not think for themselves or see what is right in front of them. You are not of your own mind you are just following along with the crowd.
I remember after the Jim Jones Guyana suicide tragedy in the late 70’s a group of us talked about how could people blindly do what someone told them. Looking back, it was not unusual because we see it every election season. What people forget on both sides is that we have a God given right to speak out. You have to do what is right for you. Those that say they are for free speech are the ones that always try to suppress free speech if it goes against what they want. Just like the one who posted that someone annoyed them with their response and that they needed to go away. Those people are the problem not the solution. I've dealt with people like this all my live. They don't want anyone to rock the boat because it might upset their cushy life. They are also addicted to so-called corporate conservative media that tells them what they want to hear and what to do. They have drank the kool aid like they were told to do. They are also the worst of the kool aid drinkers because they trying to force others to drink the kool aid too. They tell people to shut up, fall in line and do what you are told.
The Republican Party no longer wants people to ask questions or think for themselves, so much for Constitutional Rights. I forgot they shredded those years ago with the Patriot Act. The Patriot Act destroyed more Constitutional Rights at one time and people didn’t complain because it was in the name of safety. It was signed into law by a Republican President and recently extended by a Republican Congress and once again the majority of the country stayed silent. All the government Constitutional Rights violations are all the result of the Patriot Act. And as always no one did anything to try to stop it except calling those that tried terrorist sympathizers.
Think of it like this, media’s sole purpose is to sell a product. The product is an agenda. The agenda is that of the owner of the company. This is for all media and hosts, liberal or conservative. You need to do your own research so you don’t get swallowed up by the their agenda. Do not take anything at face value. do your research and ask questions. If something doesn’t feel right or make sense, trust yourself not what others say. I would rather ask questions now instead of later because later is going to be too late. It is easier to follow than it is to ask questions because the answer you might get is something you do not want to hear. The country is in this mess today because of people like this. You annoy me so go away, I believe and do anything they tell me or if you don’t agree you are now on the wrong side. My answer to this today is the same as it was years ago, “No!”
